My bad,I am pretty sure that the pro 5.0 is the quiter of the two,but I was just saying that to see if others would respond with a definate answer LOL so everyone would withOUT a doubt know which is quieter and shifts smoother. If I was to buy one,I would go with the pro5.0 because of the fact that you do not often hear people complaining about the noise and how hard it is to shift slow like you hear about with the triax. But i LOVE the stock shifter,I have NO problem at all shifting it.Even though I have only drove it a few times, cuz I am waiting until I turn 18 to go and pick it up from the dealer and sign the papers. Anyway hope that helped somehow.

I have the Tri-ax.....No problems to speak of...no experience with the 5.0 either...

as others have said you will never get a clear answer on this....I think it's really personal preference with the triax and 5.0, however I think the tri-ax generally is more popular

I think the tri-ax is cheaper, but only about $15 cheaper.

i've got a pro 5.0 and love it ... but between the two it is pretty much a 50/50 split. take your pick and enjoy the new shifter. both are great shifters.

If you've got short arms, go for the Tri-ax. If your arms a little longer, go for the Pro 5.0.
