Ok to spray before supercharger??

Thinking about giving the compucar dry bottle in the bag kit a try, I am supposed to spray it before the mass air but if I do this it will go through my vortech and through the aftercooler before it hits the motor, I think this will be ok but wasn't for sure if it might do something to my supercharger, I will only be spraying a small shot 30-50 range

It you are talking about a baby dry shot like that, it would be more ideal to utilize a blow through MAF and spray in between the blower and the MAF, but for a tiny 50 shot just to cool the intake charge, it will be fine to spray before the blower. I would just position the nitrous nozzle as far away from the blower as possible.

Another school of thought would be to spray a wet shot directly after the aftercooler. The you would not have to worry about the MAf or the blower. It it were me that is the way I would do it. Keep in mind that if you spray a 50 shot along with the boost, it will act as if it's a much larger shot depending on the output of the supercharger and how much HP you are making.

Hey Kevin,
I have never run nitrous but do know how to tune it and how it works on a NA engine. If I understand what you are saying. Why would a shot directly after the aftercooler act as if it's a much larger shot.

When the nitrous manufacturers test their nitrous jets to determine exactly how much nitrous is sprayed and what the resultant HP increase is, they are doing this on a non forced induction (FI) motor.

When you have a forced induction (FI) motor, their is a much greater volume of air being shoved into each cylinder on each induction stroke. That greater volume of air is simultaneously shoving more nitrous along with it, more so than would the same jet on a non FI motor.

So let's say a 50 HP nitrous jet will show 50 RWHP on the dyno with a non FI car, that same 50 HP jet could develop more like 70-100 RWHP on the dyno with the addition of boost.

I would do it two. I will be when new motor is done. But i wouldnt go over a 50 shot
