you need the pi tube because the pi intake is deeper and the old one runs down the middle of the valley...the new one will run along the side and not be interfered with by the intake. I guess you could rig it up but the correct parts aren't expensive.
what about the coolant temp sensor... the pi intake that i got has 1 hole and my old intake has 2 also the pi intake is the one with the plastic coolant passage not the metal one
do i need both of them and could i splice them together?
