I'm new to the site and new to racing in general as well... just bought an 89 knotchback w/ king cobra clutch as my first manual tranny car... goin to take a while to learn that :) ne way is there an online manual i can download and print at my work so i dont have to buy the real thing? yes i know im a cheap ass but im tight on money cuz of the damn car... also the difference between hydraulic clutch and cable clutch... does ne 1 think its worth the effort to switch to hydraulic?

not sure what the difference is but there is no manuals online that i know of, atleast none that will give u tutorials and stuff on how to change parts and things, not that i know of maybe there some hidden one, i would reccomend a perforamnce book they sell on 5;0's therea a really good one out there forgot the name but someone should no it, its like 25 bucks u can prob order it off amazon.com or something

i dont know of any FREE manuals online either.
so, you dont want to spend money on a manual, but were thinking of spendin $$ for a hydraulic clutch set up??
hhhmmm. (im just kiddin bud).

there is a conversion - i think it is a bit $$. a cable is a simpler set up, i think. id rather have a cable.

good luck.

Online manual - isn't that what Stangnet is for? :spot:

Seriously, buy a Chilton or Haynes Shop Manual. If you're broke, copy the ISBN number from one and your local library can get you one on loan for 2-4 weeks.

or if JR is a local call for you, you can call him when you need to know something. :D J/K!!

JR, congrats on 5K posts :nice:
