I have a redfire V6 coupe with GT upgrade wheels. Im adding GT bumpers, fogs, and exhaust. I want stripes to breakup the red. I like the red sitting still, but when I see a car like mine on the road it looks pretty plain.
I dont like black or white stripes on the red, black is to dark, white jumps out to much.
I was thinking about silver for the stripes.
I also dont want monte carlo style stripes, seems like everyone has them and bullit wheels.
So I thought about a Boss 302 style hood and deck paint, that will cover most of the hood with a pinstripe border. The same on the trunk lid, it will wrap down around the 3rd brake light, but not go into the blackout panel between the tail lights.
Opinions?
So will silver look better than black? Will a Boss style paint scheme look better than the monte stripes? What about the windshield washers? They will be in the middle of the silver? If I do go with the monte stripes Im not getting them on the roof, how will that look?
I also dont care for the ugly muffs, so Im thinking of getting them jet hot coated silver,anyone else done that?
