I was told by a stereo place that I could run the low end JL TR Evolution Compenent speakers off my headunit (Clarion MP3), but I'm thinking I should have an extra amp to get nice sound out of them. So here's my plan

JL TR evolutions components ($109 + ship)
Rockford 201s (2 channel 50rms/channel) ($119 + ship)
Install kit for $20

then install charge of like 65. That sound good.. anything else i should consider

I've alread got a Rockford Power 351m mono amp for my Sub.. would i just be able to run RCA from the out plug to the 201s?
thanks a bunch

Everything you said would work well but if you have the extra outputs from your headunit, run those from the deck to the second amp. You'll have alot more control over the sound that way.
yeah, only one outlet from my headunit.. may get an EQ later but now this is what i got. I'm looking at Ebay at some refurb amps.. really cheap so might get a slightly older punch series. since i only need like 50rms watts per channel for the JL's
