do you think SW designs cobra bumper inserts would look good on my 99 black exterior, black leather interior, with 03 wheels (not chrome), the only other visual mod is the spoiler was moved back and its been lowered. just wanted to see what you guys think about those mirror like inserts. Part of me thinks it is blinging it out and rubbing in the "cobra" factor haha although I did pay for a 2001 cobra bumper to swap out the all too common mustang bumper. I have yet to see a black car pre 03/04 with the inserts. Their website shows the cars from too close up and don't give a good overall assessment. thanks

I don't remember where I got mine, but I have the SS inserts and think they look great. If I didn't want the attention I wouldn't have gotten the exhaust, wheels, power, or anything else I have put on the car either...the SS inserts are tame in comparison :D

Do it! They'll look great! And may I suggest Scott Winger inserts to anyone else thinking about an SS insert... best ones around hands down! He's been making them for over 5 years now and is the originator of SS inserts if I'm not mistaken.

P.S. I have a pic in "My Garage" of my car with the Scott Winger inserts (Click on link below). They are thicker than any other inserts available!

UM,

That's a great looking gas door (saw the photo in "your garage")....what kind is it? Where did you get it?

Got it from MGW. They make some excellant quality billet bling bling for your car. As far as the locking fuel door... You can combine different outer ring styles with inners and different logos. Check it out here: http://www.mgwltd.com/mustang_fuel_door.html

Yeah, MGW is great stuff........I basically have all of the interior stuff in Anodized Silver. I don't recall seeing the gas door setup........I'll have to figure out what will look good with my paint/roof (silver with a black top)....I'm thinking the satin inner and black outter.

Thanks!

hey 99 svtadict, sweet car! what brand of wheel spacers did you use and how do you like it?

I also have wheel spacers (H&R 1" Hub Centric...on the rear only) on my '03 Cobra.....I have 18 X 9 Enkei GTV Hyper Silver wheels and their offset in the rear brought the tires in a little....spacers brought it out to the lip like it SHOULD BE from stock.......really finishes it off nicely! :nice:

p.s. Both H&R and Eibach are made at the same place in Germany...same production line etc...just have different names.
