I found this battery at Summit while purchasing my hood pins and battery relocation. Is it the same? It says it can be mounted anywhere in any direction and has the "6 pack" look. It's also only 99.99 whereas the optima is like 120-140 depending on where you buy it? Who should I go with and why?

Oh yeah, and if someone can tell me how to post pics I'll do that. And I'll get the cold-cranking amp #s and all that later if anybody even knows about this batt.

I have never heard of it... But if they use the spiral cell technology instead of stacked plates then it should be just the same.

We sell them at Checker Auto all the time. They are comparable to Optimas, they just don't have the sort of "cult" following that the Optmas do. I think we offer an 84month/2year free replacement warranty on them. In store they sell for ~130.00
Edit: If you didn't already know, Exide makes them.

I used one in my girlfriends old dakota. Works great, never had a problem with it. Keeps the terminals nice and clean too.

I use an optima in the mustang, also good, looks cleaner. The orbital has handles that lift out of the top, the optima has a strap. Might make a difference if your always moving the battery.

Ok, on summit, the optima is only 115.32 with 800cca and the orbital is 720cca @ 99.99 So im gonna spend the extra 15 for the NAME and the 80+ cold crankin amps.
