Optimum shift points

What are the optimum shift point for a mostly stock AODE 94 302?

Every gear can't be the same can it?

Heres what I've found since I posted the question:

1st 5470 rpm @ 39 mph
2nd 5150 rpm @ 62 mph
3rd 4860 rpm @ 88 mph
4th 5070 rpm @ 123 mph


How does that sound?

What will 4.10's do to those numbers?

You know I don't know for sure. With my stock gears (2.73) I topped out at 122mph in 5th. Now I have 3.73 gears and I still top out at 122mph. I too had similar results at the track. Except I didn't go slower just no change from previous results. I am thinking the stock H-pipe and catback are bottle necking the power. A drag racing suspension couldn't hurt either.

I am confused I was under the impression your cars came with 3.08s stock...I thought the 2.73s were autos??? help out a confused new stanger

wait I think I got it...there is a code on the driver door jam that tells what option rear axle you have correct? under the "ax" on the driver door jam my car says the letter z this means I have 3.08s stock correct?
