I just ordered my FRPP 4.10 gears for my 96 cobra and I hear that is not enough for my car, that I should have went with 4.30s. Anybody have any experience with this?

The 4.10 is a great gear for your car.I wouldn't worry about it, we put them in a 96 cobra and they did wonders for the car.

4.10 is not that much different than 4.30.. either one is fine for your car. You won't be disappointed.

I've had both, and I love my 4.30's.....my friend also has 4.30's in his 98 Cobra, and simply loves em!!!!!

But I doubt 4.10's will disappoint

I say if you havent opened the 4.10's up yet, send them back and get some 4.30's.

I just now noticed you have a Cobra. I take back what I said. Do not get 4.30's. Get 4.56's.

Yep I did - got them right here - http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...6104&item=2470677841&sspagename=STRK:MEBWN:IT

I'm thinking about asking if I can get 4.30's instead. - not 100% yet. Everybody over at mustangworld.com is crapping on me for buying 4.10s.

Well, not to say the guys at Mustangworld are "geniuses" but they are right on this one. Ide say 4.30s or 4.56s. Just my .02 cents. Cant go wrong with either one.
