I ordered a hat and shirt from the Saleen website and was curious as to how long they take to ship items such as these? Thanks.

OK, I see this all the time. I gotta ask, what have you guys done to PO the Saleen parts department? I've placed several orders with them and have never had a problem reaching them or getting the products within a week. I see all kinds of posts about not being able to get through and waiting indefinately for products. Either I have extremely good luck or some of you are just jumping on the bandwagon of naysayers. If I had that much of an issue, I'd e-mail or call Liz. She always responds within a day or so...

Dave,

You must be on a lucky streak. Don't jinx it for yourself. It really comes down to who you get on the phone. Liz won't help with a parts order problem 9 times out of 10 anyway. Like anything else, everyone only remembers the one bad experience even though they have had 5 positive ones beforehand because the bad is easier to remember.
I'd say for the most part it does not really matter what you order whether it's a t shirt or a hood it's still a crap shoot.

i ordered 2 tshirts a few years back and they never showed up. eventually after about a year i called they said they had cancelled it because it took them too long. also took just shy of a year to get my center console plaque. other items i ordered direct...umm: oh my 96 i ordered the chrome style rims 18x8.5 & 18x10, they showed up the fastest...probably in a week or so but the one chrome flaked off the whole wheel so i had to send it back, took 2 mo. to get it returned. and the HE hood took 3 months. so..yea, never ordering again unless its an absolute must.

I talked directly with Liz when I orderd my replacement center console plaque, it took all of 4 1/2 months and I had it in time for the National show last year. It was the first showing of the car since I had put it together. Liz had promised me she would get it on time or bring it to Nashville personally if I didn't get it before the week was out last year. I've always had good luck with the Parts department. I guess I'm another one of the lucky ones. When I called for the replacement front bumper numbers, I had them in 3 days.

If you order a tee shirt and a hat you can get them through Haneymotorsport as well.
