So I was going to buy a DSS pro bullet, but then after I yanked the engine and trans out I decided I dont want to do that again for a very long time. So I am going to build a stout bottom end intead that wont sweat under some boost.
Anyways, hopefully some of you guys have bought a balanced rotating kit, I was looking at the DSS kits for TW heads with domed pistons. Anybody using domed 11:1 pistons on pump gas?
I have to drill out my heads for 1/2 head bolts, can I do that myself or should I them to a machine shop?
Also, who makes a oil pump pickup for these blocks? I forgot to ask when I ordered it.
