Hey all

I wanna start off by saying "Merry Christmas" to everyone

Anyways, I just got done ordering 4:10s with my mum for my present. I cant wait to get them. I have just a few questions and it would be great if anyone can answer them for me. So here it goes

-What speedo do I need?

-My stang has 125,000 miles on it would you reccomend a trac-loc rebuild and a complete ring and pinion instalation kit?

-Anyother aod's with 4:10s tell me just how happy im gonna be?

I appreciate all info

Jimbo

You will need a white 23 tooth speedo gear.

Is your trac-lok worn? if it isn't i wouldn't necessarily say you need one. I did not rebuild mine when i did my gears and now my car has 101K on it and i beleive it's still running on the original clutches in there.

I have an AOD with 3.73's and they put a smile on my face. I wish i went 4.10's for a little more oomph. You'll love em. Make sure you have some sticky rear tires

While your there i would order a complete rebuild/installation kit and i would recomend spending the 40 dollars and rebuilding you trac-loc. Its cheaper to do it now while they have your rear-end apart then later. You will be very impressed with the 4:10's and an auto. It will perform great!

Thanks for all the replies.

Im gonna gonna order the 23 tooth speedo gear and a trac lok rebuild and a complete installation kit (I kind of figured it wouldnt hurt with the mileage getting up in the higher numbers)
