Ordered my Trick Flow kit today

I ordered my Trick flow kit from CJ pony parts this afternoon. going with this kit, 75 MM mass air meter and 24 pounders. SHould have the kit in three days and they are doing the installation work. $4300 for everything and I was told the car should go deep into the 12's when done. Pisses me off I don;t know how to do the install I could save nyself $1000

Doing the install yourself is a great learning experience. I would probably pay someone $1000 if I were doing it all over again, though.

A friend of mine is getting his 95 GT vert back tomorrow, he just had a new shortblock installed along with that same Trickflow kit that you just ordered. He swapped out the cam for a Steeda 19, to try and keep the computer happy (but today the shop told him it wouldn't run without a chip ).

With traction you should be solidly in the 12's. On street tires, no way .

Good luck with your project. That would be nice to hit the 12's. Are they going to tune your car at the same time?

They told me they would set me up with a place called Kauffman's somewhere in Carlisle PA for the tune.

I have the trickflow kit on my almost totally stock 94 GT. Made a Great difference. Only problem is I suck at driving and I have stock gears right now. I pull in about 14.2 at 99.89 w/ a 2.4 60'. I need some new tires because i just spin all the way through first gear. If I can get my 60s down to a 2.0 I should be in the mid 13s I don't even have pulleys on the car. Everything is stock from headers to injectors to MAF.

I ordered my trick flow kit 2 almost 3 weeks ago and it STILL isn't in from CJ Pony parts. Might call and cancel the order, pisses me off, i'll get it from somewhere else and deal with nstall this winter

Ohh come now, its not that bad, its actually fun. Its worth it the first time you fire it up and you know these are your horses.

I ordered mine from summit only took a week. If that makes u feel better.

just call summit up and order it, and then call kaffmanns . i think they can do the install and the tune ,they might even give you a break if you get it all done there , they did my tune and did a great job.

I agree with Troy. Call kauffmans and speak to Dave about an instal and chip. I have nothing but praises for them. I dyno my car there.

Sorry to bring back an old thread, but how did things turn out? What did you do?

Trust me, we werent treating you bad, nothing we can do if Trick Flow isnt sending us the parts. How do you think we feel when we spend a lot more for a buy in and then down the road they dont send us parts in a timely manner?

FWIW, anyone ordering Trick Flow from Summit should get it instantly, seeing how Summit owns TF.
