Ordered the Black Shelby GT wheels today. Got them for 600 shipped. Best deal I could find, and I've been searching for about 2 weeks now. Had to order the TPMS straps from American Muscle (70 damn dollars! I hate TPMS) and they should be here Thursday, and hopefully I will have them on Friday! I'll be sure to have pics.

Cool. I'm ordering mine in march. Not quite sure what I'm going with. I have 2 in mind, but they're staying secret. Definitely post pictures.

Hey Poop I Got my factory wing laying in the basement if you want to flat black it and go for that BOSS look! I think those wheels will look pretty good on there IMO!

When i bought my car i had the dealer change the black wheels for the polished ones like my wifes GT as part of the deal. I am not real big on black wheels myself, but everyone's taste is different. Didn't care for them on the black car.
They put my black Shelby wheels on the Vapor 08 GT they took the polished off of, then put black stripes on it and i have to say it didn't look bad.
All that matters is if you like them since it's your car.

Thanks man! I am thinking of the next mod being a Black GT500 wing, then possibly V6 rocker panels (their flat black). I have the black out between the tail lights right now.

I think your next plans sound great, but i wouldn't go for the V6 black rockers. the material that they come in gets dirty real fast and is a pain in the ass to clean. I'd look into painting your existing before you buy them.

Stage 1 of my mods for the year are on the way. Just ordered 2 17x9 anthricite bullitts for the '07 and 2 17x9 machined Mach 1's for the '05. Going to order my M&H drag radials tonight. Then in a few weeks I should be ordering Shelby CS69's for my '07 and a plethora of other goodies Very excited. Sorry to steal the thread for a second here.

Did you already place the order for the TPMS mounting kit?? I have a "spare" kit... long story - but I would like to sell, it is the American Muscle one.

Yeah, I already have. Wish I would have known earlier! Care to explain the installation? I've installed these replacement worm type clamp bands before, but it says it comes with "adhesive"?? What's that for?

They are worm/band clamps. The 3m double sided tape goes behind the craddle. You will see when you break your stock wheels down that the OEM craddle has some double sided tape behind it. Doesn't really seem necessary but I used it anyway.
