I have an 03 gt a cai and full exhuast. I ordered a Zex 82023 wet kit. My main question is timing. I did some searches but didnt see anything specific. The Zex site states at a 75 shot can be run on 0 deg. But, at 100 shot should be at 2 neg. I dont have the ability to retard the timing, and i was wanting to run at 100 shot. on a 1-10 scale 10 being detonation how risky would it be to run 100 shot at 0 deg timing w/ colder plugs?
Ive been looking localy for Colder plugs but the local national auto stores dont seem to carry any. been to about 5 stores with no luck. Any sugestions where to look?
Without taking it to a shop is there any way i can check the A/F ratio? I did a search and pretty much seen that the gauges I could install wouldnt be very reliable. Without spending like $600 on a quality set up.
Been researching and tryn to gather information for the better part of a year on nitrous and now that Im almost ready to install I just want to make sure i got all my bases covered. Never owned a nitrous equipped vehicle (if that isnt obvious) and would love any tips and or pointers on installing the wet kit.
I dont have alot of experiance working on cars but with haynes and stangnet Im pretty sure i can do most my installs tools permitting. Thanks in advance for the info and patiance with yet another nitrous thread.
