:jaw: What's the rest of your combo?

Pullies, h-pipe, mufflers. thats it. the 4.30's are overkill right now I understand, but I dont wanna waste money so I just do it right and drive the car until i can get more complimentary mods. as of right now, I have no mid-range power.. hoping to fix that with the RR's and headers.. then later do the CAI, intake stuff

but... I do pull hard off the line. :)

i have a set just collecting dust, shoudl have bought mine and saved.....but obviously you (or anyone) didn't know i have some for sale

well, i bought mine from a local guy for $130.. i think thats a good deal considering how much they are new

and obviously I don't come here very often, I do look in the classifieds often though.. :sorry:

What is the purpose of roller rockers exactly? Someone tried to explain it to me once but he was an idiot that knew **** about **** so I don't know if he was correct.

yeah, my stang mechanic guy told me the RR's would be great until i got my cam and heads, then we would go back to 1.6 rr..

said it basically acts like you have a cam before you actually get a cam.

Good RRs also equalize cam performance from cylinder to cylinder as the stock stamp RR ratios are often inconsistent. They also take less effort from your engine to move compared to the stock sled POSs.

i dont want to rain on your parade but you better check your springs before you slap them rockers on,especially on a high milage set of heads, you will encounter some serious valve float at higher rpms w/ worn springs and actually wind up hurting performance.just a heads up
