I ordered some matte black vinyl and some blk lettering for the rear of the Mach.I know the lettering isnt that hard to do,but Ive never done the vinyl for blacking out the rear panel between the tail lights,is fairly easy to work with, and if anyone here has done it,I could use some tips on applying it.I went with vinyl cuz I like the painted look instead of the plastic honeycomb.Buddy of mine has the same stuff on his white GT but he didnt install it himself...he's too lazy,he pays everyone else to do his mods, but it does look good..loooks like the striping on my hood.

Oh and I didnt order the vinyl kit that you can buy,I ordered a 15"x10' roll, for $10+shipping,but its the same stuff that the actual kit is made with its just a matte finish instead of gloss.

Also does the extra stripes on the hood give it a cheesy look?Should I leave it on or ditch it?Just trying to get some suggestions.

The extra hood striping looks good. People either get that or have their hood stripe painted on with a broader blacked out hood. Too much black I think kills the striping theme. Black hood stripe, rocker panel, rims, rear tailights, Mustang lettering, rear wing. But that's just me. I've kept my exterior stock. Except for the chrome AFS Mach rims I'm gonna have on soon.

I really like the extra striping on the hood..

to my eye it fills out the raise section better than just the stock stripe

Thx,Well then that does it....it stays.it will pretty much stay the way it looks other than the blk lettering and the blk out in the rear,I think I wanna lower it just a bit to give it that sleek look, but I know nothing about suspension...have no clue how to go about it.I dont want it so low that it scrapes easily but low to look good.Might do some DD bullits in the rear. But before any of that I gotta do exhaust and window tint.

I personally don't like the extra striping. But I believe the blacked out rear panel will look great.

I would prefer it without the extra striping, but it still looks great.

I don't care for all the writing on the hood. I like just the normal way for that stuff. I do think the black out back will look good though.

Go for the honey comb tail panel. I think it looks good. This is what my car looks like.

Looks good, like the louvours(however you spell it).The panel is nice but something that I always hated on the GT's was all the honeycomb stuff, just dont care for that design.Theres a Mach on my street with that one on there.I prefer the painted look.If the vinyl doesnt work out I found a custom shop that will paint it on with matte black or the same as the spoiler for $100,thats wet sanding and buffing included.

Thanks, basically when it comes to the louvers people ether really like it or they hate it. Your car is going to look awesome with the back panel black and black letters (heck your car looks good now) .

Thx,I think it just needs a bit more black to set everything off better.Front has plenty of black but the back only has the spoiler really.Yours would look really nice dropped with either some blk bullits or maybe some cobra rims.

Haha everyone says that it needs to be dropped when I put that pic up. She is actualy dropped about 2" in the front and 1.3" in the back. I'm not going any lower. I will be getting blk bullits one of these days.
