Oregon OHIO
It was a lovely 52 in Ohio today so I got to pull the old girl out. After talking to the stangnet group the last couple of nights and getting suggestions I ordered the h-pipe, made a deal on stangnet for 24lbs injectors(sending the money tomorrow) awaiting instructions for the flowmasters and the mass air reply.
All this and I still have to install the new ABS sensor.............Can we say "Impulsive"...............:nono: Maybe if I get a few more credit cards I can keep up with some of you....:hail2: :hail2:

It was the summit brand, I think 125.oo with handling and sales tax. Summit is about 3 hours from me. The reason I went with it is that I posted a thread on back pressure a couple of nights ago and I have been running 4 cats and straight exhaust. I was misinformed. I was told my car needed more back pressure to get the most out of the Trickflow trackheat H/C/I and some of the "experts" :hail2: on here set me straight. I have 2 1/4 inch exhaust and the pipe is 2 1/2 so I am hoping to open it up a little and then dump the 40 series flowmasters.........I'll let you know if "I" have any trouble with the h pipe...and knowing my projects..............:bang: :bang: :bang:

Wow ... I run the Summit H-Pipe & dumped 40 series Flows as well. I like it. The Summit pipe actually fit perfect. I just had a problem that was my fault (didn't get a header stud tight enough & had to go back & tighten it after an exhaust leak). The only concern of mine is longevity. I don't want this thing to rust out (has no finish).

Good luck with everything man!

Ups just dropped the h pipe off today.....damn that's some good shipping. I know they are only hours away but I thought for sure it would at least be tomorrow because I ordered them in the early evening yesterday.....Hot damn:nice:

that's cool... I'm installing the Summit H-Pipe tomorrow morning. Hopefully it will be an easy install

one of my cat's internals are torn up and keeps rattling and squeaking... i really gotta do the install. Also, there's way too much backpressure from that side and i'm afraid it's going to f-up my engine

I can see it being an easy install with dump since it won't matter if it's too short. Hopefully you guys won't need to hack the hell out of the flanges to get it to fit the stock collector like I did.

that's wierd how many mixed reviews the summit H gets. you said it's too short where's stprolla49 said it was too long... we'll see

i actually plan on putting my tailpipes back on, so i hope it isn't too short

AHHH not the summit H! i wish your post said "thinking of getting a summit H pipe" lol......that POS has been rattiling aganst my crossmember from day 1, i actually thought it was my rear-end grinding at one point......It also is rusting out like a mofo....actually faster than the rear fenders on my bronco if you can believe that!. This leads me to my next point.....This weekend i will be switching it to a Good quality x-pipe. I expect that you will also soon.

Like I stated previously, I don't have any complaints on mine. The only concern is the "rusting out" part. I first started to worry a little while back when Kyle posted a thread of how his is doing that. So I'm probably gonna take it back out & give it some kind of treatment. It might even get jet-coated.

i installed mine today... installation was great without a hitch.

i followed their instructions all but one thing, I disconnected the O2 censor at the hookup then removed them when i got the pipe off. This is all after i soaked everything.

I'd say installation was no more than 30-60 minute job
