ordered wrong gaskets

well I ordered the wrong gaskets (upper,and lower manni and timing cover gaskets) for my 2002 motor swap into my 96 GT, I ordered them for a 96 motor,but now I come to the question will my upper plenum work on the PI manni ? or should I just use the plenum from the new motor and transfer my IAC valve over ?

also I see that the manifold set for the 2002 (upper and lower) is like 3 times the price of the 96 upper and lower set. exactly what does an upper and lower set comprise of? isnt it just the lower manni to block,the plenum to lower,and the throttle body to plenum?

Im thinking I gotta either use my 96 uppper plenum on the PI manni or swap out the IAC from my 96 upper plenum and install it on the upper from the PI manni.

The upper plenum will work fine but the gaskets are different - the NPI plastic intake plenum mounting surface is flat and uses composite gasket similar to the intake maniforld to cylider-head gaskets but the PI intake has a groove in it for a rubber ring gasket so you will need that one. Chances are that the one already on the PI intake is fine to reuse.

My set just had the manifold to head gaskets and a plenum to manifold gasket. I think the TB to plenum is separate.

The plenums should be interchangeable - either will work.
