Im looking into getting some gears for my 99 gt, but its an automatic. Is there anything I have to do different to my car ,compared to a 5 speed, after the gears are installed. thanks
If you have a 99+ 5-speed all you need is the speedcal.
As far as the car running, you dont need to do anything....
all the speedcal does is fixed your speedometer after the gear change.
Forget the flash, just pay 89 for a speedcal and plug it in...
case closed.
(automatics need more because the tranny will need to shift at different points to compensate for the gears, and to keep it from stalling on fast stops)
