Ok im looking for the best overall off the shelf cam for my combo. Im ordering tommorrow so I can get this all together at one time. This will be driven quite a bit on the street but will take to the track probably about 4 times a year so I am looking for power and driveability. Here is my combo:
'99 roller block .040 over
Speed Pro coated hyper pistons
Speed Pro moly rings
Arp rod bolts on stock recon rods
arp main studs
stock polished crank
gt40p heads untouched
edelbrock torker2 intake, may switch to air gap or vic. jr. later on
1in. open spacer
holley 650dp
t-5
8.8 with 3.73's
full exhaust
Pretty mild but should be good enough for me.
