Hi, several years ago I purchased a very nice 65 fastback that came with red and black Pony upholstery (seats only). The prior owner stopped with the seats - he did not turn it into a full pony interior.

Regardless, can anyone identify whether this is an original color pattern, or did he simply make it up?

I did not like it at first, but I knew what kind of car I was getting, and I would have still bought it if there were no seats in the car! Over time, however, the pattern grew on me and I now like it. I thought many times that I should just spend the $500 to change it to all red, but I wound up sticking with it.

So now I like it, but I need to sell the car. If anyone has access to the factory option color schemes, please let me know.

Thanks!!!

I went through my book, cars&parts catalog, it shows no red and black combo for interior choices. I looked all the way up to the 70 model.

Someone had a custom interior done. The first black and red interiors of any kind was the 1969 Mach 1
