You didn't say what year or model Cadillac you were talking about. If it's a relatively new car, I think it's insane to consider trading it for a new car with marginally better mpg figures. Lord knows how many thousands of dollars they'll lose in depcreiation on the Caddy, and that money will buy a lot of gas.

Oh well. It's their money, and they'll do what they want to do.

Still, the 300C is a sweet ride...

I personally don't think they look good, but if they get it they might as well go all out and get a Hemi!

What does hemi stand for again? I know some cars use to have this engine design.

hemi stands for hemispherical combustion chamber. It has to do with the shape of the heads resembling a hemisphere.

If I were to get a new sedan thingy, it would only be a Lincoln LS all black with the all chrome trim removed, limo tint and some HRE wheels. The 300C looks to me like a cheesy, wannabe Bently and I hate Bently's. I would probably like it more if the grill wasn't so disgustingly huge and obtrusive. If I saw one that was all black with the grill painted black so you can't see it, it might be cool, maybe.

I kind of like the big grill. I saw one in my rear view one day before I knew what it was and thought it was some kind of high end luxury car. Then I saw the very bland rear end and was dissapointed. If they do go for it, make sure they get the "hemi." rolleyes

Those are great vids Snoozer, and when you show them in that type of perspective it's hard not to want one. But like it was said before, if they don't get a Hemi with it then don't bother getting one. Just my .02.

"The old American way there's no replacement for displacement." -David Donohue (Thanks to Snoozer for the vids)

That car looks pretty sweet, reminds me of the Dodge Magnum a little but both cars I didn't like at first but then grabbed my attention. I think they're really sweet now. They've got power and cargo room - assuming the get the Hemi. So screw gas prices and go for the big one but either way it's still a nice looking sedan
