This is kind of funny:

http://www.santoalt.com/videos/200_Dog_Attacks_Officer.html

The funniest part I think is when he pulls out the gun. Like the dog is going to think "oh no, he's got a gun". I think he tells the dog something, like "get down on the ground". Funny stuff.

I second that. It's obviously trained to attack like that, and it looked like there were a lot of kids in that neighborhood anyway. I hate it when people train their dogs to be mean like that. Probably tweakers!

I spend a lot of time around dog's. As a dog groomer I got to see all kinds of them. After watching the video I would have to say that it was the dog that was out of line but ultimately it is the owner who is at fault to have had the dog be that way. There is no such thing as a bad dog, any and all of them can be raised to behave appropriately. A bad dog is only the product of an owner's irresponsibility and neglect. The same thing applies to pit bulls, a breed that I have come to know as the sweetest and most loving of puppies. This could have been a guard dog, but there is no excuse for not having the dog bound by means of a leash or fence. To have an aggresive dog just walk past the sidewalk at anyone whether it be an officer or a child is just criminal. I think it's the owner that should get tasered and not the dog. That's my two cents.
