OT- forget about HS who's in College here???

I really don't know, but I would like to work on the Ford SVT team. I know that seems far fetched, but that's what I always wanted to do and Ford recruits heavily for engineers from Michigan Tech. Half the computers I use on campus were bought by Ford. Hopefully I can get an internship or co-op in the next few years and get some expirence to figure out what I want to do. But in the time being, I'm just having fun...:spot:

I'm currently a Mechanical Engineer for a company that builds heat treating equipment (www.chefurnaces.com)... Its a decent job, and I really have a lot of freedom to design things that I see fit. Unfortunetly, the work is boring most of the time, and gradification is often seperated by 4-6 months (projects drag on for so long)... Plus, their are nothing but old guys in this field, and you never really get to meet new people (only on business trips).... Plus this whole sitting in front of a computer all day, like a computer geek is getting on my nerves...

With that said, I started hitting the gym a 6 months ago (5-6 days a week)... Lost 40 pounds... meeting a ton of new people (thanks to breaking up with my fiance)... Plus I'm half way through the process of becoming an officer for the LAPD.... which should be pretty exciting... and if it doesn't work out, I can always just go back to being an Engineer, since I put in the hard work for the degree...

Nice job on both accounts :nice: I graduated from college two years ago this May from Western Illinois University with a BS in Criminal Justice. Three trips to FL and $3,000 later, I am all the way through the process with the Florida Highway Patrol. I am now simply waiting on the phone call to come down for good. :flag:
