Anyone read the article? I caught a glance of the cover and saw 05 GT runs 12.31 without nitrous. What are the details? Slicks? What else? I thought they were going to run 13's but clearly this one isn't stock.

Im going to be pretty upset if i cant easily beat these new guys with my h/c/i setup. I hope whatever they did isn't easy for everyone to do

I wouldn't worry. Stock ones are squarely in the upper 13's at this point -- not a challenge for a H/C/I 94/95. Very few people are going to do these kinds of mods for the track. And if its the street you race on, most all of the specialized track mods do very little for a street race.

Actually, they cut Paul's car out of the picture. He was towing it down the track to get those times.

There were 2 05's at the track last night. One's best run was a 14.4 but the black one pulled off a 13.70! Im siked about the new 05s.

The new 05's have plenty of power for sure. The biggest problem I see with them is the need for another full turn of gear. A 4.56 and slicks could probably get those cars into the 12's without too much trouble.
