Bought my new camera, received it on Monday and have been playing around with it a bit. I am experimenting with HDR (High Dynamic Range) photography. HDR consists of taking multiple shots of the same thing at different exposures to capture all of the lighting environment. So, to keep it somewhat on topic I decided to take a set of my car in the parking lot of where I work, during my lunch break right when sunrise started. Here ya go

Canon Powershot A620. I am thinking that in spring, I will upgrade to a 30D once I get the hang of this a little better. I am used to low end point and shoot cameras, so it is nice to have something that I have control over

Wow, those are some killer photos.

Are you going to be at Starbucks tonight or tomorrow night? I'd love to have you explain some of the basic camera settings for me(how to adjust aperture and other settings for the best effect), and possibly take some shots of my car. I need something decent of it!

That 2nd one looks like you photoshopped your car into a really detailed first person shooter.

It looks awesome!!! I want one now.

I was there around 10:40ish but it was a big rice fest. I didn't really feel like hanging out being the minority and when I rolled in I pretty much got the look of death from just about everyone who was there, hehe.

I am waiting to get an email from a publisher wanting me to take concept photos for a game version of The Fast and The Furious. Maybe they will gut out a V6 Mustang like mine and throw in a 2JZ-GTE so you can "mad drift" away from the cops while hitting the NAAAAWWWZ button to get that extra push around those really tight curves
