When you guys are driving down the street and another mustang revs on you what are your initial thoughts? Do you take it as a challenge, or just as another stanger is acknowledging your prescence on the road?

Neither.

I look at them like they are some kind of moron. That pisses them off the most.

Never really has happened to me... This old school monte carlo revved his car at me when he drove by me at a stop light.. Caught up to him on the road and he sees me and floors it, swirving in and out of traffic to get away then procedes to race my friend in his little 4cyl VW Golf Only other car has been either people I know to get my attention, and one LT1 Firebird

Acknowledgement... I personally don't do it, but I don't mind it at all. I usually give a thumbs up or wave to other mustangs.

Depends on if I know them or not, as to how I take it. From a few local guys, it would be your typical A-hole behavior. Others, it's a basic "how ya doin'" from across the road in car language.

But, when it's from a girl, I'm not sure how to interpret it, yet.

More observations may be necessary.

If it's someone I know, then I assume it's him saying "Hello". But if some random guy is just driving next to me, then I assume he wants to race.

On the way to the track on the highway, a 98-02 camaro (LS1) pulled up next to me and kept tapping the accelerator. Each time, I got to read his license plate which read "MONGOSE". Thankfully, I am way to slow to even try him w/o the blower, so I toyed with him until he finally gave up and drove off.

It's sad seeing a car fishtail when he guns it @ 70mph.

LOL That's probably very true. The last time it happened to me, the car that reved was stock as far as I know. Sadly, that car is faster than mine, at least it would be with a half decent driver.

Around here, if its stang to stang ( or any like car) it is a simple " how ya doin?" from another car, its a challenge!
