Here's problem #2 with my clutch..I just put in a new ford racing clutch and it squeals when i push the clutch IN...now here's what's weird...after driving around and it warms up that will go away until I put the car in REVERSE...I'm losing my mind..it's squealing like a girl...help me get it on the road before it snows!

TOB's can make noise when loaded or not loaded, depending upon how they are failing. The input shaft retainer can have something to do with this as well.

Now the whole part about reverse has me baffled - that has nothing to do with the clutch.

Good luck.

don't grease the cable, they're teflon lined and don't need greasing. Greasing will trap dirt/grit and ruin your cable.

how bad is the squealing/

HAve you passed your break in period yet?? If not, break it in with some good stop and go traffic then see what happens.

I had the same problem, my fork and pivot ball were really worn so when the clutch was replaced the TOB wasnt pushing on the pressure plate finger evenly, making the TOB squeek and destroyed my pressure plate at the same time. I dont know about the reverse thing, that would be a internal problem with the T-5
