+1 on that.

Better performance for the same money (z06 or viper)

Same performance for much less money (c6 w/boost)

And we wont even mention that you can buy kit cobras ALL DAY LONG for 50-60K. What do ya want... 393 5spd, how about 460 auto, an FE-man you say... ok heres a dual quad 427 that'll haze the tires at highway speed...
(ok, so maybe we'll mention it, but just in passing)

Any way I look at it, I just cant see how anybody can be willing to pay that much money for a new Shelby.

But add it to the looooooooong list of things that people do, that I can't believe....

A stock C6 will beat the new GT500 in all categories (straight line about even). Hate to a mag racer but every one Ive picked up is showing it behind the C6 in all performance measures.

A C6 with boost would anihilate it and be ahead of both a stock Viper and Z06

While I don't mind the corvette. I'm not sure I'm old enough to own one yet.

I was out at Beverton Ford last Wednesday, the black SHELBY was sitting outside in the parking area with a sold sign on the dash. It sold for $74K according to the technician that was moving it back into the show room. There suppose to have two more SHELBY'S on the way.
