Anyone know if you are supposed to overlap the sound deadener? How much of an overlap? 1/2" ? Do you basically shell the entire inside of the car? What about the structural parts where the trim mounts to? I would hate to have to remove any of the stuff.

You do not have to overlap the edges.You can, but it will have the raised edges.I have doubled up on some vehicles that were abnormally loud inside.
