I PUT A NEW OFF ROAD X-PIPE ON MY 2000 MUSTANG GT. ABOUT TWO WEEKS LATER THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON AND IT WAS AN O2 SENSOR PROBLEM ON BOTH BANKS. I JUST WANT TO SEE IF ANYONE COULD GIVE ME ANY SUGGESTIONS ON WHAT TO DO. I AM GOING TO REPLACE ALL OF THE O2 SENSORS BUT WILL THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT COME BACK ON?? IF ANYONE COULD HELP ME OUT I WOULD APPRECIATE IT!!

Your problem is probably the fact that you dont have the o2 sims in the rear. I know on foxes you dont need them, but on 96+ cars I think you have to use o2 sims to get the engine to not spit out them codes.

you don't need them on foxes becuase the don't have rear 02's they are OBD1 cars...

that is most likely what his problem is, but I want to see the codes before I recomend anything..

if he did'nt install the sims or if they are defective he will have cat inefficiency codes for both banks.
