i know that many of you guys have not p&p your heads, but for the few that have, i was wondering if anyone has gotten dynoed after a p&p job. im thinking of doing this mod, but i want it to be worth while for the money. im talking just heads and not aftermarket cams.

i know cams together will give great gains, but cams are not an option for me.

id also like to hear of any gain that you have witnessed with this type of set up. thanks guys.

I'll be doing my own P&P. I got pretty good with the E7TE heads, and the principals of airflow are the same. I'm pretty confident in my own work and think it will make a huge improvement.

But mostly because I'm a cheap b@stard and don't want to drop nearly a grand to have someone else do them.

Won’t have any before dyno results though, sorry.

I dynoed at 190 HP and 250 TQ on a mustang dyno and my only mods were a full exhaust. After the headswap (click sig for all mods) i dynoed at 270 HP and 277 TQ (on a "regular" dyno). I would be a whole lot higher but i have blower cams and no blower. I also went with P&P heads.

I P&P my own heads. My big brother owns an engine rebuilding company, complete with lots of really cool porting tools Not sure how much the P&P helped, as I did the PI heads and intake before I put them on, but I'd guess 15-30HP depending on your mods.
