Have a 96 mustang had a 4.6L I have got a 302 with c4 tranny in was wondering if anyone know if I can use say a 87-95 power steering pump would it hook to the excising p/s lines in the 96 just not sure. Are is there mounts out there to use the p/s pump off the 4.6 note my setup is just like the factory on the pulley system have not tried anything to the p/s yet just didn't look like it would work...thanks

No, I don't think so. The 95 has a female fitting on the power steering pump while the 96 power steering pump has a male fitting. And I think the 95 fitting is threaded while the 96 is not. So it won't work.

Might be better to just use the bracket and pump that came with the engine and then just modify or carry over the lines. Maybe try to find a conversion kit. Keep it simple. Before you go altering the brackets, just try and do it the easy way.
