Well I cleaned out my throttle body this afternoon and I knew that my car would be pissed cause in order to clean it I had to start it without the sensor that is located on the air intake. Well I got a P0113 which is Intake Air Temperature Circuit High Input. So I erase the codes, and drive the car again, all is well for 15 miles, then it comes on again! Before I cleaned the throttle body I didnt get this code, and i was very careful not to get any cleaner on any sensors....so why would I be getting the code still? Any ideas, if not where can I buy a new sensor, and how much would it be? Thanks in advance...

P0113 It's intake air temperature sensor. (It should be a sensor built into the rubber hose.)
When I upgraded to a lightning maf on my 02 for my blower, I was getting the same code. I found out the stock o2 maf had the sensor integrated in the maf iteslf. The lmaf does not have it. Went to ford dealership parts and special ordered it for 40.00 and spliced into the far left and far right wires.
No polarity there either. Not 100% on the 98 models though. My code went away. Driveability was not affected for me whatsoever but that annoying light. It will come back. good luck

Did you check the wiring on the IATS? position of it? When you removed the tube, it's possible the clip came loose/shifted....it's the sensor just behind the MAF assembly if you did not know...
