i have a 2004 mustang. hood label says 3.8L block label says 3.9L so not sure which one it is. ses light came on and come to find out it was the camshaft position sensor. replaced that and had alternator tested. now 2 days later light came back one. anyone have any clue what it might be

Did you use the correct sync tool when re-installing the cam sensor? If not, likely this is your issue.
