Looks like a misfire in # 6 cylinder. I’m thinking it’s the :poo:ty coils I’ve bought, just put them in yesterday. I’ve been using cheaper coils and have had to replace em about every 6 months. Bought some really cheap ones of amazon. I guess I just have been putting off dropping $400 on OEM coils. How long do OEM coils last?

Consider for a moment there are some conditions that WILL reduce the service life of a coil. For example:
  • excessive spark plug gap
  • moisture in the spark plug wells
  • weak boot insulation allowing spark to escape
  • excessively chronic lean fuel mixtures
  • chronic misfires or dead shorts
Here's a Youtube video with a TON of information about misfires. Hopefully if you can get through the whole video you will learn some things about your car that you didn't know before. Even better if this can get you thinking in a different direction.

For the record I've personally never had a stock coil go bad. (I have seen them go bad on other cars though) I have also had to replace the boots and inner springs (I guess that's what you call it) on them as they do draw moisture. Keep your engine clean and dry and they should provide a very long life cycle.
