Here is the deal, just picked up a 96GT vert w89k miles. No codes except for the one mentioned in the title(P0750 Shift Solenoid A Circuit Malfunction)
Here goes: Where is this part in the transmission(4r70w?)? Can I fix this myself? Is it and expensive part to fix.
BTW, the tranny has the judders when coming to a stop, and the 1-2 shift feels like a swift kick in the marbles.
I have an option though: I have a totaled 98GT(thanks drunk driver man
) with a t-45 that I would love to swap. Will this stuff interchange 96-98? Also can I swap the ECU? After I do this, I CANNOT have any CEL's because of New York's Nazi inspection system. So will swaping the manual ECU guarantee a CEL free cluster after I'm done with the swap?
