Anyone else ever dig through their post history and just cringe at some of the stuff you've posted?

I got bored and looked back to my earliest posts...

Painful to read to say the least. Not that I've improved much, but
I might need a new account

Beauty of the internet I guess, harder to get away with saying stupid sh*t

Mainly because I'm frequently reminded by folks about my poor choices, so I can only imagine the stoopid remarks associated with those decisions.

I would love to see the replys I wrote and then deleted before I posted them cause I proof read them and decided to delete the reply because I came across as an ass or some such. I am sure it would be both entertaining and embarresing at the same time. è

I have a lot of history here.

I do look back occaisionally, just to reaffirm to myself that I was never wrong, always gave expert advice/ opinion, and was always an all around stand up guy..............

Another one of my better attributes. Coincidently, one of my very first posts involved arguing with you.

I don't bother looking back personally. I'm sure I've said stupid/wrong things. I most definitely have learned a lot of things since joining. I haven't argued much because I realize most people don't care about other opinions and are going to do what they first intended. I state my opinion and I'm 100% sure that I'm not 100% "right" anyway.

The simple fact is we are all getting old.... ugh.... No longer are we know it all's and most of us have realized that we know jack crap, Trying to talk someone out of doing something stupid (that they've already made up their mind on) isn't worth the e-penis fight.

I've read some of my old post on this and other forums and I too was an arrogant prick (still am I guess lol). I shake my head at some of the petty discussions (ok arguments) I was involved in over the years.

Edit to fix a few of my illiterate spelling mistakes.

All I can say is that if you started 7 years ago blank slate, and you are where you are now capability wise, you are in a 95th percentile that most never get to regardless of the time invested. You sir, are the Webster defined "car guy" ( Mike's unabridged version).
For anybody to quickly pull off a LS swap in a non GM car, put on an aftermarket ECU, and get it running in as short of a time as you do, and on top of that, do the level of work that the pics you post testify to,.....well....you got nothing to be ashamed of.
