The car went in for paint today Imagine a high metallic viper blue .. i can't wait until it's done. the total bill was 1250 (ouch), but still ridiculously better than anywhere else.. maaco wanted 1100, for christs sake.

I'm so ticked off, I am from that area of Pa, but am stationed in Tucson with the Air Force right now and was hoping to move back in May and get my car painted. The AF wouldn't let me join the Reserves though so I gotta stay here for 2 more years before I come hoime. Hopefully I can find a hookup around here real soon. You guys are lucky!

Well, purposefully looked up my own thread rather than just posting a new one.. if you look on the first page, his name and address, along with a couple pictures of cars/trucks he's already done are on the first page.. REALLY nice guy, and it looks like he does fantastic work.... i'll definitely have pictures of how it looks.

feel free... she still needs a lot of stuff, of course the interior is kind of trashed... not TOO bad, just needs a good wash. she ran pretty damn good on the way there... of course i need to give her a solid street tune before i do any kind or racing with it... i got 20 mpg on the way there, which isn't bad for such a terribly tuned carb'ed car... I'll be extremely proud of her one day, though
