I noticed this and I can't believe this is happening. My car no longer has warranty... what can I do about this?

Talk to your dealer. They might take pity on you if it is possible this was a flaw from the factory.

That shouldn't be doing that. I'd take it back to the dealer, warranty or no warranty.

You buy that car new or did you buy it used? it almost looks like that quarter was repainted and its lifting off the original paint.

I agree. Than again the car could of been damaged on the lot or during transport. Dealers don't have to tell the customer as long as the damage doesn't exceed a percentage.

That was my question as well...it looks like it may have been repainted

I have some spots where the clearcoat is peeling on mine. Right now they are just 3 small spots around the radio antenna, around the side mirror, and right in the middle at the top of the windshield. I'm gonna' try to get these taken care of this summer, before they become much worse. Hopefully these won't turn into one of those horror stories where the paint peels and fades, and nothing is done about it. I've seen alot of cars from around the 2005 era that have problems with clearcoat and paint. On some of them, bird droppings eat right through almost instantly. And I believe that this time period was the beginnings of the use of more eco-friendly finishes, so they may not have been as durable.

lmao I've been a member for quite some time. I just stopped posting around 2003-2004 when I sold my 2001 GT.

I noticed a color shift on my car a few days after taking delivery. I made the dealer repaint part of the car. They told me that what they painted is warrented for the life of the car (or as I own it)....which is typical for any reputable paint shop.

Sorry to hear about your car.
