Wild strawberry or Black? They are both so sexy on these cars!

I like the strawzburry. I've always liked that color on a fox, even though I've never had a red car. I've got an all black truck right now. I really loved it when I bought it, but I would not do black again. Too tough to keep it looking good.

Wild strawberry FTW!

My coupe is black... I will never have another black car.

That being said... when it is clean... omg it is sexy.

Next one will be white, to hide everything.

Black. All cars get dirty. All cars get clean. Only black deserves the badass label.

If you go black be prepared to keep something in the trunk to dust it off regularly between washings. I normally wipe mine down every morning because it looks so crappy from dust settling over night.

Yeah, I agree on the sexiness factor of black, but the color is difficult to both manage and get a good finish out of.

Color hides alot, and it sets the car apart. Not as many out there.

No color looks better than a deep flawless black, but no color is more of a pain to keep looking that good. I think the rewards are worth the effort if you have a garage kept weekend car and you pay for a serious paintjob, otherwise for a DD i would go with something else.

I figured WSR would get a quick headstart considering in my area I have never seen one. I own an lx hatch and it's my DD + I can be lazy at times. Seems to be a no brainer after reading some posts.

This is original '88 paint, hand waxed. Black isn't THAT hard to keep up with.

The only reason i didn't go with black on my car is i wanted something different, and i wanted a color that would let the black grill pop out from the rest of the car.

How about red AND black?

Naww, just kidding. I obviously vote red, the single color statistically responsible for garnering the most attention from your local law enforcement.

I have a red car that i wish was black.
If the car is stored outside year around, forget red the sun destroys it.

You guys are nuts. Wild Strawberry is basically pink. I love red, but there are a million better options than WS.

This. I will always own a black toy car (assuming I ever get rid of this one, which I don't plan to). Black is just so BAD ASS. When it's all cleaned up and the paint is in good shape, it just looks like liquid death on wheels. There is nothing more intimidating and understated than a black hot rod.

Honestly, WS is probably one of my favorite color Mustang reds. I love a fresh WS repaint

Photoshop can make any color look any way you want it, and sunset pics make any paint job look good (not that either of those cars look "bad" per se).

In direct sunlight, WS comes off as having strong hues of pink, IMO. This is a shot of 1991notchbackLX's old car, which was a really nice car, but this pic is a perfect example of what I'm talking about:

I mean, it's not awful, but it's not my favorite red, either.

Hm I see what you mean there. I'm really wanting a maroon shaded car which this is in most conditions maybe redfire?

This is the video that got me searching for the color which I thought was WS, is it something different?
