Hello guys.
I've been away from this forum a while. My car has been in the body shop being painted.
Paint is Ford Sonic Blue. The body shop will be marking out the Shelby stripes, dismantling the car, painting the stripes, clear coating and re-assembling the car. Then I get to bring the car home and the fun stuff starts.

I had previously removed the engine, transmission and driveshaft. I stipped the entire interior out, including the glass. I removed all the badges, bumpers, lights, chrome trim, mirrors, door mechanisms and replaced the stock hood, front and rear valances. I had the shop weld up all the badge holes, aerial hole and a couple of rust holes. Car has been in AZ for the last 25 years, so there aint much rust. The shop dissassembled the fenders, doors, trunk and hood, rubbed down the existing paint, cleaned it off and reprimed around the window openings, the cowl and the door jams and where necessary. They painted the entire car, basecoat and clearcoat including the trunk. They painted the engine bay and have yet to add the Shelby stripes. The shop is a privately owned shop here in Tucson and I'm expecting a bill of about $6,300 based on their quote.
