I am getting ready to drop the motor into my car. I spray ddgreaser on the bay and rub it with a terry cloth towel to clean it and when i wash it off I notice damn near all the original paint is gone. While I knew the paint was bad and was going to need some attention I didnt think purple power and water would take it down to bare metal. Here is my dilema. A spray booth is out of the question and i do not have the tools or funds to mix and spray paint at my house. Is there a rattle can alternative like a single stage urethane I can get at a paint shop? Not looking for show quality, I just dont want to leave it bare metal or in primer.
