Need Info on the paint sealer that the Dealership try's to sell you when you close the deal. Would like to bypass the dealer and put it on myself. Any good
products out there? Will be getting a new 06 GT at the end of the month.

Thanks Don

The paint already has a clear coat on it. What is the sealer the dealer is selling you going to seal? Sounds like snake oil to me.
Seems like a good wax job will provide what you want, just more work to keep it up.

Do it yourself, it'll look 100 times better then what the dealer will do! A lot of people like the Zaino system. Here are my pics after claying the car and applying Zaino Z5 sealant.

That's a pure profit item added by dealers which does you absolutely no good.

Refuse it if at all possible. Some of the more slimy dealers put it on all new vehicles (allegedly) so you can't easily get one without it. You can, however, try to refuse to pay for it even if they have put it on.

Thanks Your car looks great! Did you buy the whole kit or just the Z5 sealant?
