I found a great deal for a 1990 GT hatchback GT body kit and was wondering if anyone has tried putting it on a 1989 convertible? I just want to see if it is even possible as I don't want to spent a million dollars on a new body kit and paint matching it. I might just try to wait to part it off another convertible but it is a REALLY good deal.

Can't remember when the change came in but when ford went with the 16" pony wheels they changed the front fender opening, someone here knows, like 90-91?? Maybe I can find it 
Ok so the change was in 91. Check the date codes on the front fender pieces.
