paint then drivetrain or drivetrain then paint

it a dubble edge sward.
do you paint the body 1st so you can get all the areas then work on susp and drivetrain.
risking scraching the paint instaling something
or
do you install everything and get it running then take it to paint for the final tuches but not being to beable to hit all the areas
that need to be hit.

screw all that unnecessary, extra work.

paint then drivetrain.

unnecessary? sorry but id rather be pissed off at the car when it wasn't painted because something wasnt going right with the drive train then having it all painted and ending up putting a huge ass scratch in it because of tools flying!

but maybe that's just me :D

well by the looks of his project, he's pulling everything that was once IN the car at some point, so naturally, it's going to go back in the same. i don't know about you, but every ford drivetrain i've ever pulled from a stang has gone back in just as easily.
