Well this thread was lost in the crash of 05, but since I never got around to posting pics of them on the car here goes.

1st I Primed with Hi-temp engine primer, then undercoated with hi-temp white then top coated with yellow brake caliper paint. I did the white undercoating only to bring the color to a closer match to my Zinc Yellow GT.

Hold your horses, don't think that this all happens overnight. I picked a 2nd set and painted them over 3 weeks. Each coat should be allowed to dry for about 5 days. If you try to remove, clean/prep,primer,color,reinstall over a weekend the time spent will show in the end result.

How much does a spare set run?

Five days drying time?

I prepped, painted, and cleared my wheels in an afternoon. Then mounted them the next day.

The wheels turned out as good as any of the powdercoated Bullitts I have seen. Allow proper flash and drying time between coats and before handleing.

There is no reason why that can't be accomplished in a weekend. The results will still look the same as long as you don't rush the flash times of the paint being used.
