I got all my supplies from Oreilly's, I used all Dupli-Color stuff, the primer is the greay one, they have clear, red, and grey, I used the grey one. Then i tried two different things, I bought some regular old black clearcoat spray, and this stuff made for vinyle and plastic, suprisingly the regular stuff looked better. Here is what I did step by step...
1. I got a bottle of alcohal and some towels and REALLY cleaned the whole dash GOOD.
2. I got newspaper and covered EVERY thing I did not want paint on, seats, carpet, windows, everything you need to cover.
3. Once the dash it totally dry, hit it with two light coats of primer, not alot, but enough to cover all of the original color. Let that dry for about an hour.
4. This is where you gotta be carefull, not you take the black, and just do it VERY lightly till it fills in, the lighter the better it sticks. Do this untill you are happy with the result and let it dry overnight, ot for a good few hours.
5. The last step it the clearcoat, I used the Dupli-Color clearcoat with the clear top, I just did one layer of clear and it came out VERY glossy, as you can see.
6. This is just a suggestion, in order for your car to ventalet, do this with the windows down, and towels covering your paint, let the paint dry with windows down in a shaded area.
Good Luck guys, as long as you take your time, you should be ok.
